Boat rides through the canals of Leeuwarden. The departure jetty is at Nieuwestad across from Van Der Velde Bookshop. The sailing times can be found on the website, at the pick-up locations and at the ticket office: Kleine Kerkstraat 5.

The volunteer organization ‘Stichting Praamvaren Leeuwarden’ organizes tourist and group boat rides in the city.

The foundation has five electrically powered boats with a total capacity of 122 people. A skipper and guide are on board for all cruises.

All boats are certified by the Shipping Inspectorate for optimal safety .

Our skippers have a boating license and sail the barge nimbly through the canals and canals. The well-trained guide now tells all kinds of details and interesting facts about the city and our monumental buildings. Praam cruises through the canals and canals of Leeuwarden.
