What to see and do now

'Yes, I do!'

This autumn there is a major exhibition on wedding dresses over the past 250 years, featuring both historical and contemporary dresses at the Fries Museum. The museum will take you on a journey through time, from the 18th century to the present, in search of the essence of the wedding dress. What traditions was the dress subject to? Where did the ‘white’ wedding dress as we know it today come from? And what does the dress say about the person wearing it? Find out this autumn at ‘Yes, I do!' or 'Ja, ik wil!'
