We are here for you every day, and we have listed the best restaurants, most beautiful cityscapes and sights for you. 

Custom Advice

The Visitor Center is the physical reception point for all tourists where we provide up-to-date tourist information. We give tailor-made tips and tricks about great locations, events and activities in the city, but we also point out the many possibilities in the region. Would you like to obtain information before your visit? Feel free to send us an e-mail! We are happy to put together a day, a weekend or even a mid-week for you. Great if, for example, you plan to come with a (large) group! In this way we make your stay in Leeuwarden as pleasant as possible, maybe even so pleasant that you stay a little longer, or at least like to come back.

Ticket Sales

We think it's important that you can explore the city carefree, without having to do too much (only the fun stuff!). You can plan your city trip to Leeuwarden almost completely with and through us. Before or during your stay. From tickets for museums, boat rental and city walks to scoring a last minute ticket for that one cool festival. Everything under one roof, convenient!

Opening Hours

The Leeuwarden Visitor Center is open from Monday to Sunday. Please note! From September 2024 we will close at 5pm instead of 6pm.

We hope to welcome you soon in the Leeuwarden Visitor Center. You can find us at Heer Ivostraatje 1. We can be reached by telephone Monday to Saturday from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM on 0031 58 233 85 45. Due to the implementation of a new telephone-system, we're having some issues with calls coming through.
