Stichting Praamvaren Leeuwarden
Boat rides through the canals of Leeuwarden. The departure jetty is on Nieuwestad near Intersport Luxen.
The volunteer organization Stichting Praamvaren Leeuwarden organises tourist and group boat trips in the city.
The foundation has five electrically powered boats with a total capacity of 122 people. All boat trips include a skipper and a guide on board.
All boats are certified by the Shipping Inspectorate for optimal safety.
Our skippers have a boating license and sail the boat nimbly through the canals. The well-trained guide now tells all kinds of details and interesting facts about the city and our monumental buildings.
