The best way to discover Leeuwarden is to join one of our city walks. We provide public city walks all year round. Our guides know the hidden places of the city and are happy to tell you about its history, but also know where to find the nicest shops and the most beautiful graffiti. Of course, they also know where you can eat or drink after the tour.

We provide public Leeuwarden Free Tours every week. You can join our guides every Tuesday to Sunday. These tours are the best introduction to this city.

Every Saturday at 12 PM we offer a Leeuwarden Free Tour in English. And from April till October we also offer a Leeuwarden Free Tour in German. Dutch tours are every Tuesday till Sunday. 

The start location is in front of the Leeuwarden Visitor Center, in OBE, opposite the Oldehove.

At the end of our tours you can decide for yourself what you think the tour is worth through a voluntary contribution.

It is also possible to book a city walk exclusively for your own company. This is possible at any time of the week, all year round.
