Boat rides through Leeuwarden's canals and moats. The departure jetty is on Nieuwestad near Intersport Luxen. You will find the sailing times on the website, at the starting locations and at the ticket sales point Kleine Kerkstraat 5.
The volunteer organization ‘Stichting Praamvaren Leeuwarden’ organizes tourist and group boat rides in the city.
The foundation has five electrically powered boats with a total capacity of 122 people. A skipper and guide are on board for all cruises.
All boats are certified by the Shipping Inspectorate for optimal safety .
Our skippers have a boating license and sail the barge nimbly through the canals and canals. The well-trained guide now tells all kinds of details and interesting facts about the city and our monumental buildings. Praam cruises through the canals and canals of Leeuwarden.
