Do-it-yourself street art walking tour Achter de Hoven
On this walk, you will look for decorated electricity boxes around Achter de Hoven. The area is a small green oasis on the edge of the city centre in 2018, the 20 boxes have been transformed into works of art. All are dedicated to the connection with water. Through the QR code (which is on the map), you can read the story behind the artwork. This can be about the artist's technique, the idea of the artist himself or the story of the animal depicted. This way, you not only learn something about the neighbourhood and Street Art but also about nature. The walk starts and ends at the Blokhuispooer in the centre of Leeuwarden and is about 3.5km long.
