Old Burger Weeshuis
Since Auck Peters started taking care of orphans in 1534, and through her inheritance the first impetus was given for the establishment of an orphanage, the care for orphans has undergone enormous development. As an institution, the orphanage no longer exists. The last orphan was deregistered in 1982.
