Museumshop Princessehof
Grote Kerkstraat 9 | Diagonally opposite Binnenwerk is the Princessehof Ceramics Museum. The only national museum in the north is overflowing with the most beautiful porcelain. After a visit to the museum, it's not surprising that you feel the desire to take a piece of the museum with you. You can, even if you haven't been to the museum. The museum shop is open to everyone and has ceramic gems by established and up-and-coming designers such as Olaf Slingeland, Floris Wubben, Hella Jongerius and Claudy Jongstra. You will also find brands such as Pol's Potten and &klevering. You won't find nicer gifts (for yourself or someone else).
Binnenwerk
Grote Kerkstraat 12 | Step inside Binnenwerk. This interior design shop collection will undoubtedly make your designer heart beat faster. Think: Eames, HAY, Gelderland, FEST Amsterdam, Vitra. Brightly coloured sofas, neutral and oh-so-bright dining tables and interior accessories in all shapes and sizes. You can imagine that it's hard to get bored here. To give you the best possible advice, the shop works by appointment only in the mornings. In the afternoons and on Saturdays, you can come and take a spontaneous peek.
LAB1925
Sint Jacobsstraat 19 | Would you like to avoid busy prints and bright colours, prefer to dress in black, white (or all shades in between)? Then LAB1925 is the place to be. Make no mistake, the collection, the shop and the story behind it give it plenty of colour. In fact, in addition to designer clothes from other brands, you will also find clothes from their own fashion brand BLACK by K&M. K&M stands for Klaes & Myra, the designers and shop owners, whose love for style and design is reflected in unique avant-garde garments. A must-visit for any self-respecting fashion lover.
