Eighty years of Liberation in the Netherlands. However, for the 81st time, the War Graves Committee Huizum has organised the commemoration for the 5 crew members of the Lancaster DS831 that crashed between Wirdum and Wytgaard on 16 December 1943 and the other 17 Dutch civilian/military victims. We are commemorating these victims with a silent march, among other things so that we never forget! (Lest We Forget)
