Climb the leaning tower of Leeuwarden!
The Oldehove is the pride of Leeuwarden from 1529. History with a beautiful view. Come, look and climb! The famous leaning tower of Leeuwarden is open daily between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. Climbing is possible until 4:30 PM at the latest.
Unfortunately, the tower is closed during the winter period from the last weekend of October to March 31. The tower will open its doors again on April 1.
Check the Oldehove website for current opening hours. The tower is not accessible for some events at the Oldehoofsterkerkhof.
Group visit for school classes, among others
There are various options for school classes and other groups, under the guidance of employees of the Historisch Centrum Leeuwarden.
