Verhalenavond

At Verhalenavond, all of Friesland meets to listen to stories. Stories in living rooms, museums, cafés, government buildings, libraries, at associations and companies. This year, this special evening will be held on 17 November.
Everyone has a story. On Story Night, there is a listening ear for every story. You really don't have to have a literary tale, just a story as you tell it to another person. Things that happened, that you experienced, that you know about the area, or something that not everyone knows.
Theme: Verhalenavond (Storytelling Evening)
This year's theme is 'My Journey'! This could be about your trip around the world, an inner journey, an escape story or a journey you'd still like to take.
A broad theme and everyone has experienced something. It is nice to tell about it and it is so nice to listen to the stories together and share them in this way. And this because we can recognise ourselves in them.
