Festive closing: For Every Atom...

Come to the festive closing of For Every Atom… on Sunday 13 April! On the last day of the exhibition, we are organising an inspiring programme with a creative workshop for families, a city walk and an in-depth interview with the artist, Semâ Bekirović. Come and celebrate this special finissage with us!

Family workshop: building bird nests

Be inspired by the bird nests in the For Every Atom… exhibitions and get started on your own bird nest. Especially for families with young children, we are organising this creative workshop for animal lovers in which you can build a new home for the birds in your neighbourhood using old and salvaged materials.

Time: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

No need to register, join the museum hall for free

Art route through the city

You will also find plenty of works of art outside the walls of the Fries Museum. In this city walk, led by a city guide and Semâ Bekirović, you will walk through Leeuwarden and discover the special works of unsuspected artists. These works of art have been 'collected' by various museum visitors over the past year.

Art talk with semâ bekirović

Discover more about artist Semâ Bekirović during the Art Talk. During this in-depth interview, Bekirović will discuss her creative process, her vision of art and her approach to authorship. She will talk more about her work in For Every Atom... and the unusual collaborations that shape her art. What does it mean to collaborate with nature? How do humans and animals relate to each other in the context of art? This is a great opportunity to learn more about the deeper layers of her work and the process that underlies her art.
