In AquaZoo Leeuwarden you will encounter many special animals, like the Nile crocodile, Amur tiger and ring-tailed lemur. And from April 18th, unique animal sand sculptures will make your visit extra special.
From April 18th on, you will be amazed by the enchanting sand sculptures of many animals in AquaZoo Leeuwarden. Children can do a free treasure hunt, build their own sand sculpture or play in a gigantic sandbox. Next to the sand animals, you will also come face to face with all the other special animals in AquaZoo. Due to the educational presentations by the animal keepers and the many (water)playgrounds and adventure routes, this zoo is particularly interesting for a family day trip.
