Every week we organize an bike tour with our guide. Discover the highlights of Leeuwarden highlights on a cool retro bike.

Saturday starts at 10.30 am

Please be present 15 minutes prior to the tour.

Meeting point

We will gather at the main entrance of the Blokhuispoort. Here our guide will welcome you, and after a short introduction, everyone will receive a cool retro bicycle equipped with a handy bicycle crate for a jacket, bag and a bottle of water for the road.

Bike Tour

Led by an enthusiastic local, this is the ideal way to discover the city. After this cycling tour, you will have a good impression of the beautiful Frisian capital. The guide will cycle with you past old monuments, hidden gems, hip places and, of course, tell beautiful stories. No boring history lesson, but just a super fun bike ride, criss-crossing through Leeuwarden!

Highlights such as the beautiful old town, the Oldehove, Elfstedentocht (11-Cities Tour) stories and highlights, the Prinsentuin city park, the Frisian Nassaus and the palace of the Oranges, as well as the modern little Manhattan Leeuwarden and trendy street art which should not be left out. • Changes or cancellations up to 24 hours in advance are free of charge
• Payment is at the beginning of the bike tour (cash)
• Make sure you are present 15 minutes prior to the bike tour
• Distance: approximately 12 kilometres
• Accessible to all cyclists
• Average group size: 8 participants
• In the case of expected rain showers, you will receive a free poncho
• Minimum age for participation is 12 years
• No child seats, tandems and electric bicycles available
• You are required to obey the traffic rules
• Participation is at your own risk
